Will We Be Forgotten?
Perhaps, the greatest individual fear of human kind, is to be forgotten.
We are all children, and the lives and experiences of our forbearers are indelibly imprinted on our D.N.A.
Our survival owes much to the way our ancestors navigated life’s challenges. Their successes, failures, fears, joys, in fine, all they experienced was coded to their D.N.A. as a repository of genetic predispositions to preserve life.
At birth we inherit these “Gifts”, with each generation adding to the library.
Personal Family trees, when studied, can explain our inclinations and traits, lessons internalized by those who came before us.
Genealogy allows us to remember those whose lives have become part of our own.
This work, is in homage to those who gave life to, and influence us to this very day.
No one is ever truly lost, or forgotten.
